This is most definitely NOT a toxic ash waste dump in Novosibirsk. Why would that even be a trend to take photos of a place like that and try to pretend it’s beautiful? The grand irony is that the ash dump that has recently become popularized as the Siberian Maldives, is produced with waste from a coal power plant which is contributing to climate conditions that will eventually, permanently change the color of glacial lakes like this one BECAUSE THE GLACIERS WILL BE GONE! One of the first hidden waterfalls that I ever explored and made a video about was this magical place in Big Sur near Pico Blanco. We spent 4th of July weekend here 3 years ago and had it all to ourselves. I heard there was a rockslide across an approach road last year. Not sure if they ever cleared it, but this spot was truly special and worth the poison oak that I ended up getting EVERYWHERE 🍆🤙
